Questions and Answers

Number Spec Section Question Answer 1 N/A Regarding Subfactor 1 – Experience and Capability, the proposal is limited to

20 single pages. Is it the Government’s expectation that the response to Subfactor 1 will be close to 20 pages or is the requirement merely to highlight that it is not to exceed 20 pages? We are trying to determine how many pages to devote to each subfactor, as Subfactor 3 alone will take up 8 pages, thereby leaving only 2 pages for subfactors 2,4,5. Would the Government please provide a breakdown of how many pages to devote to each Subfactor?

Subfactor 1 - Experience and Capability is limited to a maximum of 20 pages total. It is up to each contractor how many pages they want to devote to each subfactor not to exceed the maximum. Subfactor 3 is not part of Subfactor 1. The maximum number of pages for each subfactor is listed within the solicitation under each subfactor.

2 N/A Regarding Subfactor 3. Specific Personnel, the requirement is to provide resumes of no more than 2 pages for each proposed key personnel or 8 pages total for Subfactor 3. In addition, we are to include a narrative of no more than two pages describing the experienced key personnel’s abilities.

Please confirm whether the narrative is meant to be WITHIN the resume’s 2 page limit, or is it in addition to the 2 page resume for each personnel (thereby making each resume be 4 pages).

Subfactor 3 - Specific Personnel is limited to a maximum of 8 pages total.

The narrative is inclusive of the maximum of 8 pages for Subfactor 3.

Since this appears to be mostly just ceiling work, with the exception of a few new walls, in the areas with existing walls that have wall mounted occupancy sensors, is there an existing box, so we will just replace the wiring and device, or do we need to fish flex down the wall for the new occupancy sensor?

In most cases for wall mounted occupancy sensors they were located to where the existing light switches are located. It is anticipated that the existing conduit and box will be able to be re-used extend wiring to the new fixtures. If a case comes up where this is not the case the sensor could be adjusted to location of the existing switch unless there is an obstruction that would prevent it in which case flex would have to be fished.

Questions and Answers

14 ED-101/ E-201

ED-101 shows multiple ceiling devices being removed and reinstalled.
