RFP 19-R-0049 Question and Answers – 29 April 2019
Question 1:
AirTronic USA makes a robust alternative to the RPG-7 and AG7S. We would like to propose it as an option for solicitation W15QKN-19-R-0049. Is it acceptable to submit a proposal for just one of the 5 weapons on this solicitation? In other words, can the award be broken up by weapon or will there be just one award for all 5 weapons?
Response: In accordance with Section L.2.1.4, Alternative proposals will not be accepted.
Question 2:
I have to concur that most of the suppliers got their inputs to us all last week, then took off mid-week for 10 days of Orthodox Easter holidays, leaving us no ability to seek clarifications on their inputs. They will all be back to work 7 May. I would appreciate it greatly if you could grant an extension until 8 or 9 May, to allow one or two days after the suppliers return from Easter holidays.
Response: An extension will not be granted.
Question 3:
We are currently in the final stages of bidding on this contract but we would like to know if there is any possibility that we can have a 15 day extension on this contract due to technical specifications we are finishing up.
Response: An extension will not be granted.
