About this file

The document is a technical specification sheet for the Versafilter III water filter, produced by Oasis, detailing the head orientation and installation process for water cooler filters. The document provides a detailed, step-by-step guide for properly inserting and locking the Versafilter III into its head, with illustrations showing the "ON" and "OFF" positions, and explaining how to verify correct installation by checking the date code positioning.

The technical document includes specific instructions on how to orient the filter, including a quarter-turn locking mechanism that opens the waterway and allows water flow when in the "ON" position, and blocks the water inlet when in the "OFF" position. The specification sheet also provides technical support contact information (1-800-646-2747 or techserv@oasiscoolers.com) for additional assistance. While this document is not a contract itself, it appears to be supporting documentation for the Polk County Public Schools water cooler filter replacement contract, which involves approximately 1,900 Oasis water coolers and 500 water cooler bottle filler combo units.

Versafilter III

Head Orientation

Versafilter III Head

When the Versafilter III is inserted in the filter head and given a ¼ turn, the filter will lock into place and opens the waterway to allow flow into and out of the filter

When in the “ON” position. The fittings of the filter head will line up with the filter inlet and outlet

When in the “OFF” position the water inlet is blocked by the filter head.

Verifying the Filter is Properly Installed

Sometimes the label on the filter will spin, making it difficult to tell if the filter is properly locked into the head

An easy way to verify you have the filter locked into the head is by checking the location of the date code on the filter. The date code will be embossed at the top of the filter and will look like a clock face. If the filter is locked properly into the head the date code should be centered between the unlock and lock icons on the filter head.
