About this file
This document is an Appendix C Certification of Independent Price Determination form for the Polk County Public Schools Water Cooler Filter Replacement Term Contract in Florida. The certification is a standard procurement document that requires offerors to confirm they have developed their pricing independently, without collusion or consultation with competitors. The form mandates that bidders certify their prices have been arrived at independently, will not be disclosed to other competitors before bid opening, and that no attempts have been made to restrict competition by influencing other potential bidders.
The certification requires the authorized signatory to confirm they are responsible for determining the proposal's pricing and have not participated in any actions that would violate the independent pricing principles. The document provides space for individual or agent certification, with provisions for documenting any authorized representatives who are certifying pricing independence on behalf of principals. This form is a critical component of ensuring fair and competitive bidding practices in the public procurement process, specifically for the water cooler filter replacement project involving approximately 1,900 Oasis water coolers and 500 water cooler bottle filler combo units throughout the Polk County school district.
