Scheduled Pest Control Services
The Contractor shall perform scheduled pest control services. Specific locations are shown in paragraph, TE 18 Pest Control Facilities List. All pest control will follow the
Fort Wainwright Integrated Pest Management Plan. All inspections and procedures shall be documented on the preventative maintenance documentation and a DD Form
1532-1.
Quarterly
Inspection locations can be found in TE-18 Pest Control Facilities List.
Inspections will include the following:
1. Perform visual inspection of food preparation and storage areas.
2. Interview food preparation employees.
3. Survey traps.
4. Schedule required pest control service.
5. Complete preventative maintenance documentation.
Annually - After Spring Break-up
The following areas require preventative mosquito abatement treatments to prevent mosquito larva with approval by DPW Environmental office.
1. Golf course
2. Glass Park
3. Designated Training Area
4. Firing Ranges
5. Ski Hill Area
6. Monterey Lake
7. Skeet Range at Ski Hill
Weekly - Seasonal (May through September)
1. The following areas require inspection and mosquito abatement treatments as per bite count and approval by DPW Environmental office. a. Golf course
b. Glass Park
c. Designated training areas
d. Firing ranges
e. Ski hill area
f. Monterey Lake
g. Skeet Range at Ski Hill
2. The following areas require inspection for vertebrate damage. Action will be taken to eliminate or lessen damage and may include: live trapping, habitat modification and chemical or mechanical control.
a. Golf course
b. Cooling pond
c. Glass Park
d. Engineer Park
e. Area from firing range to Tanana River
f. Area along Chena River and slough
