About this file
The document is a Supplementary Conditions section for a construction contract issued by the City of Treasure Island, Florida, specifically for the Rosselli Park Pickleball Court Construction project. The supplementary conditions modify and supplement the standard EJCDC C-700 General Conditions, providing detailed modifications to standard contract terms and establishing specific requirements for the project. Key provisions include defining contract terms, outlining contractor responsibilities, specifying insurance and bonding requirements, establishing payment procedures, and setting forth guidelines for work performance, changes, claims, and dispute resolution.
The contract includes comprehensive insurance requirements, with the contractor required to maintain various insurance policies including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and pollution liability, with specific coverage limits. Funding for the project appears to be municipal, with provisions for potential grant, loan, or revenue bond financing. The contract emphasizes compliance with Florida statutes, including E-Verify requirements for employment verification, public records accessibility, and specific provisions related to subcontractor relationships. Financial terms include detailed payment procedures, with specific guidelines for progress payments, final payment, and potential set-offs, and the contract includes provisions for potential termination under various circumstances, including failure to comply with contract requirements or specific statutory conditions.
