About this file
This is a Subcontractor Utilization Plan form for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida's Building Operations and Maintenance contract opportunity. The City is soliciting qualified contractors to provide continuing services across multiple work categories, including Chiller Replacement, Electrical Repair or Replacement, Generator/ATS Repair or Replacement, and HVAC Repair or Replacement at various city-wide locations. One or multiple qualified contractors may be selected for each work category, and firms of varying size, ability, and technical expertise are encouraged to submit proposals for all applicable work categories.
The Subcontractor Utilization Plan requires proposers to demonstrate their intent to engage minority, women, veteran, and small business enterprises in the Tampa Bay Region and to describe their efforts in reducing barriers to participation through outreach, education, mentorship, and process improvements. However, small, veteran, minority, and women business enterprise participation goals are voluntary, and proposers will not be considered non-responsive if they submit a plan with zero participation from these categories. No minimum level of diverse business participation is mandated as a condition for contract award, though the City encourages proactive engagement with small, veteran, minority, and women business enterprises.
