About this file
This is a Subcontractor Utilization Plan form for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida's Building Operations and Maintenance contract opportunity. The City is soliciting qualified contractors to provide continuing services across multiple work categories, including Chiller Replacement, Electrical Repair or Replacement, Generator/ATS Repair or Replacement, and HVAC Repair or Replacement at various city-wide locations. One or multiple contractors may be selected for each work category, and firms of varying size, ability, and technical expertise are encouraged to submit proposals for all work categories in which they are qualified.
The Subcontractor Utilization Plan requires proposers to demonstrate their intent to engage minority, women, veteran, and small businesses in the Tampa Bay Region and to describe efforts in reducing barriers to participation through outreach, education, mentorship, and process improvements. Participation goals for small business enterprises (SBE), women business enterprises (WBE), veteran-owned businesses, and minority business enterprises (MBE) are voluntary, and no minimum participation levels are required as a condition for contract award. Proposers will not be deemed non-responsive for submitting a zero participation amount; however, the City encourages proactive engagement with diverse and small business enterprises.
