About this file
This document is an Amendment (0002) to a solicitation (SPE60125R0317) from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) providing responses to vendor questions regarding a liquid argon supply contract for Robins Air Force Base in Georgia and Anniston Army Depot in Alabama. Key details include a revised due date of September 29, 2025 at 4:00 pm CST, correction of the unit of measure from gallons to pounds, and confirmation that the current MIL-SPEC for MIL-PRF-27415 Argon LAA remains in place. The amendment also provides detailed tank capacity information for both locations, with tanks ranging from 500 to 34,884 pounds capacity, all rated at 250 psi maximum pressure and located in various buildings.
Site visit details are specified for both locations, with Robins AFB offering multiple visit dates between September 10-30, 2025 (9am-4:30pm) and contact information for Michael Holmes, while Anniston Army Depot offers a single site visit on September 22, 2025 (9am-4:30pm) with contact information for Twnica Gatewood. The document emphasizes that any bids received after the closing date will be considered late and excluded from the competitive range, and encourages vendors to schedule site visits to prepare their submissions.
