About this file

This document is a Solicitation Question Set from DLA Troop Support Indo-Pacific, Procurement Office Hawaii for FF&V (Fresh, Frozen, and Vegetable) services for Non-DoD Schools on Oahu, solicitation number SPE302-25-R-0005. The document contains two questions and answers related to the procurement, addressing specific contract details.

The first question confirms there is no predetermined ceiling or cap on the Distribution Price (DIP) per pound, with offerors required to propose competitive pricing that reflects actual distribution costs for the Base year and Tier 1-4 future periods. The second question verifies that daily deliveries (Monday-Friday) are a historical and current requirement for each school, and potential offerors must demonstrate capability to meet this delivery schedule. A note indicates additional question responses are still under review and will be forthcoming.

DLA Troop Support Indo-Pacific, Procurement Office Hawaii

Question #1: Is there a price ceiling or cap on the Distribution Price (DIP) per Pound (LB)

DLA Response: No. There is no predetermined ceiling or cap on the Distribution Price (DIP) Per Pound (LB). Offerors are required to propose a competitive DIP that reflects their actual distribution costs in the Base year and Tier 1-4 future periods while ensuring compliance with the solicitation requirements. Please refer to the Definitions and Instructions to the Offerors in the Statement of Work for Guidance.

Question #2: Based on the notes on the delivery list- I see that there is a request for daily delivery M- F for each school. Historically, is that what has occurred?
