About this file
This document is an Amendment (0001) to Solicitation SP800025R0005 for Bulk Material Sampling and Analytical Laboratory Services. The amendment provides clarifications and answers to 18 vendor questions about the solicitation, including details on estimated hours (5,418 total over three years), total ceiling price ($754,800 for sampling services), and travel pricing ($185,556 per year). Key clarifications include that sampling and test details will be provided in individual Task Orders, the government will only reimburse approved GSA travel rates, and an assumed material cost of $101,000 per year is included for equipment and consumables.
The amendment updates the solicitation's pricing structure, specifically section B.3 Schedule of Supplies and Services, and introduces a new pricing sheet (Attachment 1_Sampling and Analytical Lab Services Pricing Sheet_A1.xlsx) that vendors must use. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) structure with three Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): X001 for Analytical Test Pricing (estimated 5,200 tests per year), X002 for Sampling Services Pricing (labor), and X003 for Travel Pricing. Responses to the solicitation are due by Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:59pm EST and must be submitted electronically to specified contract specialists and the contracting officer.
