This SOW applies to the following National Stock Number (NSN) and Part Numbers (P/N):
SEE ATTACHMENT 1: TF33 STATORS (VANES AND SHROUDS)
The instructions stipulated herein provide brief, concise statements providing general requirements for the remanufacture of the TF33 Stators (Vanes & Shrouds). The contractor shall perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and remanufacture of the TF33 Stators (Vanes & Shrouds). The contractor must have the remanufacture requirements and capabilities to include appropriate technical data, remanufacturing documents, licensing agreements, and change in designs and test equipment required to accomplish the remanufacture of the TF33 Stators (Vanes & Shrouds). The contractor shall use the most current revision of the technical data referenced in this document.
The contractor is also responsible for the production, remanufacture, and scheduled delivery of a quality product. Each TF33 Vane and Shroud (Stator) identified as serviceable shall be delivered to the government defect free. New replacement vanes must be obtained from government approved sources. See Attachment (3) for list of approved sources. An Initial Product Evaluation (IPE) will be required if the contractor facility has not remanufactured this component previously or have not demonstrated all required repairing operations for the U.S. Air Force. IPE will be performed IAW guideline provided in Section 1.6 (Initial Production Evaluation).
1.1 General Services and Material
The contractor shall provide all materials for the remanufacturing processes required to execute this contract, except for the Government furnished modules that will be sent to the contractor for remanufacture.
1.2 Receiving
The contractor shall perform a receiving visual inspection upon receipt of each incoming TF33 Stator (Vanes & Shrouds) IAW T.O. 2J-TF33-53-6. Each item shall be inspected prior to placing in process to determine condition and ensure that the item identification corresponds to that shown on the current schedule. Nonconforming items shall be reported to the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) and Supply Planner (SP) within 30 days after receipt of asset.
The contractor shall report in accordance with the Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR), CDRL (A004) and obtain disposition instructions for any received assets which are misidentified, misdirected, have a variation in quantity, non-requisitioned items, lost or damaged parcel post or incorrect shipments.
The Contractor shall not destroy reusable shipping containers and will reuse them for return shipment. The contractor shall initiate an SDR for such shipments or any assets as described above or received in packaging other than the contracted packaging requirements through WEB SDR.
The WEB SDR is located at: https://www.daas.dla.mil/websdr/home.asp.

INSPECTION AND REPAIR CRITERIA
NOTE: A remanufacture shall be “100% EVR Vane & Shroud Replacement” when a stator is de-brazed, any vanes are removed, replaced, and the stator assembly is re-brazed, due to the level of work required. It does not necessarily require replacing every vane with brand new; vanes that have been inspected and meet the requirements of all vane airfoils must have a surface finish of 35AA or smoother on 85% of the airfoil and 60AA or smoother on remaining 15% of the airfoil (adjacent to the inner and outer shroud), and Serviceable Limits specified in TO 2J-TF33-53-6.
The following is the inspection and repair criteria for the TF33 Stators (vanes and shrouds) that require aluminum coating and air sealing ring replacement.
Rework and reidentify N1 Vanes and Shrouds IAW T.O. 2J-TF33-53-2, SWP 003 04.
