About this file

This is a Subcontractor Summary Worksheet instruction document from the City of St. Petersburg applicable to a shelter bid project. The worksheet requires all bidders to disclose subcontractor information at the time of bid submission, including the names, addresses, contact information, and trades of all intended subcontractors. The document specifies that up to 80% of the shelter contract work may be subcontracted. Subcontractors may only be changed or substituted after contract award for specific reasons, including failure to execute a written contract, lack of appropriate licensing, bankruptcy or insolvency, ineligibility to perform work, failure to perform, substantially unsatisfactory work performance, or substantial delay or disruption to project progress. Small Business Enterprise (SBE) subcontractors used to meet SBE requirements must be replaced with other SBE subcontractors if substituted, unless the prime contractor demonstrates that SBE requirements are being met through alternative means. The worksheet requires bidders to identify whether subcontractors are first or second tier and specify the trade classifications and subcontract amounts for each.

The related contract opportunity involves chemical procurement rather than construction services. The City of St. Petersburg is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of 50% sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) on an as-needed basis to three water resource facilities: COSME Water Treatment Plant (6,550-gallon capacity), Oberly Pump Station (1,050-gallon capacity), and Washington Terrace Pump Station (1,050-gallon capacity). Annual usage is estimated at approximately 50 dry tons for the COSME facility and 50 tons combined for the two pump stations, with bulk deliveries to COSME and mini-bulk deliveries to the pump stations. All pricing must include delivery costs.
