Subject: Request for Proposal (RFP) S-AQMMA-10-R-0018 Local Guard Service - U.S. Embassy Maseru, Lesotho

Dear Sir or Madam:

Attached is the revised RFP for Local Guard Services for the U.S. Embassy Maseru. Please note the following key dates.

· Section L, Paragraph L.7 Site Visit is scheduled for April 26, 2010.

· Section L, Paragraph L.15 Vendor Questions are due by May 20, 2010.

· Section L, Paragraph L.11 Proposal due date is June 25, 2010.

Interested parties are advised to read the entire RFP, and adhere to the instructions provided in Section L. Failure to adhere to these instructions can render your proposal as being unacceptable and not evaluated for award. All Joint Venture partners will clearly demonstrate their relationship as a part of its proposals.

The successful Offeror will be required to possess a Dun and Bradstreet (www.dnb.com) number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (www.ccr.gov) in order to be awarded a contract. These can be waived for foreign contractors when registrations in both are impractical, but this is not expected to be a common occurrence.

Please note that some changes have been incorporated from previous RFP’s issued for Local Guard Services at the U.S. Embassy Maseru:

· Section E, Paragraph E.1 Acceptable Levels of Performance

· Section F, Paragraph F.2 Notice to Proceed, and Paragraph F.4 Deliverables

· Section G, Paragraph G.2 – Invoicing Instructions; and Exhibit I – Monthly Invoice Sample.

· Section H, Paragraph H.2 Approval and Acceptance of Contractor Personnel

· Section J, Exhibit M Price Proposal Worksheet

· Section L – Proposal Instructions; and Paragraph

Any questions must be sent to Celenne G. Cook at Cookcg@state.gov
