Questions on VA Whole Health Education Services
1
Could the government define “faculty”?
Faculty are individuals who facilitate and deliver courses to the field. Faculty requirements vary depending on the course being taught. Clinical courses require integrative health physicians and other clinicians, while coaching courses require NBC-HWC credentials with substantial coaching experience as required by NBHWC. Additional faculty requirements can be found in the PWS.

Will the government provide software to develop web-based training? Could the government indicate what tools are currently used?
The government does not provide software to develop web-based training. Current software includes Articulate Rise, Synthesia, and Adobe Captivate.

The SOW states VHA faculty includes approximately 20-25 National Education Champions, 36 Network-Wide Education Coordinators, 54 Network-Wide Education Faculty, and up to 200 Local Education Champions. Could the government provide expected ratio of contractor staff to the 20-25 National Education Champions, 36 Coordinators and 54 Network Education Faculty?
There is not a pre-determined expected ratio. We ask the offeror to explain their plan to provide training and mentoring to 94 faculty members, as there is no expectation of mentoring or providing specific training to Local Education Champions.

For the “Subject Matter Experts for Clinical Courses” key personnel role, can the government confirm that only one integrative medicine physician and one integrative health clinician is required?
Each clinical course delivery requires one integrative medicine physician and one additional clinician. The courses are co-facilitated by the government and the offeror, so the government and offeror will determine for each course who will provide which role. The offeror should have both positions available but only one is needed for each course,
