About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to correct electrical deficiencies at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center.

The SOW details the requirement to replace nine substation breaker units, five power quality meters, and three power relays that have reached the end of their service life. It also requires the contractor to capture and record any surge events on the 277/480V switchgear and integrate that data into the existing SCADA system. The work must be performed during off-hours and be completed within a 300-day period of performance. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor, and comply with all applicable federal regulations and safety requirements. Key qualifications include OSHA-30 certification for the site supervisor and OSHA-10 certification for all contractor personnel. The contractor must also submit a project schedule, safety plan, quality control plan, and obtain approval of all materials prior to ordering.
