About this file
This document is an addendum dated December 12, 2024 that revises select text in the Specifications Book (dated September 5, 2024) for a VA roadway and sidewalk improvements construction project (556-23-105).
The key revisions include three bid deduct alternates that build upon each other: (1) removal of prefabricated bus shelter installation and related infrastructure, (2) removal of curb and gutter replacement along Medal of Honor Drive, and (3) removal of new site lighting and electrical infrastructure. Other significant changes include: removal of the requirement for bidder site visits by appointment, updated security procedures with COR oversight of badging requirements, revised scheduling consultant qualification submission timeline to 14 calendar days after bid acceptance or one business day before NTP, and addition of a new project-specific Submittal Register specification section. The document also modifies various administrative requirements related to document control, motor vehicle restrictions, and project schedule submittals.
