About this file
This is a Revised Price Sheet for Request for Quotation 26-030-JG issued by the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) in Florida for the purchase and installation of variable frequency drives and motors. The procurement requires vendors to provide two 7.5 horsepower motors with specifications of 3-phase, 460-volt, Frame size S213T; one 15 horsepower motor with specifications of 3-phase, 460-volt, Frame size S254T; and one static pressure sensor (McQuay, Model LSL117DH). The project scope includes removal of old variable inlet valves, installation of new static pressure sensors where needed, installation of new motors and fan/blower sheaves, and cleaning of fans/blowers for chilled water air handlers. Labor costs must be itemized separately and include removal, installation, cleanup, and disposal. All pricing must be submitted as lump sum, all-inclusive fixed-price quotes with unit prices and total prices clearly identified for each item. Electronic responses were required by Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST through the Vendor Link portal.
All prices must be FOB delivered to KUA in Kissimmee, Florida, with the vendor responsible for all freight and delivery costs. Pricing should exclude Florida State Sales and Use Taxes. The RFQ specifies that Yaskawa is the preferred motor brand, though equivalent products meeting or exceeding specifications are acceptable as determined by KUA. All work must be performed during non-business hours (outside Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM) to avoid operational disruptions. Qualifying vendors must demonstrate five consecutive years of verifiable experience servicing commercial accounts of equal size and scope, maintain current Florida business licensing, provide four commercial references, and maintain OSHA certification and current insurance coverage naming KUA as additional insured. No specific award value or budget range was disclosed. The RFQ is not subject to any documented set-asides or disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, and no incumbent contractor information has been identified.
