About this file
This is a Request for Proposals (RFP 25-25) issued by the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) for Data Cabling Services for Technology Maintenance Projects and New Construction Projects Under $100,000. The RFP seeks qualified firms to provide and install data cabling replacement services and maintenance in existing structures as well as new construction projects on an "as needed" basis. Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format to purchasing@sccpss.com by January 21, 2025 at 11:00:00 a.m. ET. The contract will be for an initial one-year term with two optional one-year renewal terms. The district requires firms to employ at least one individual with RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification, and experience with Axis security cameras is preferred.
The fee proposal must be submitted separately as a PDF file labeled "RFP 25-25 Fee Proposal" and includes unit costs for mounting cameras, wireless access points, and various Cat 6 cable installations both under and over 175 feet. Pricing will remain firm for the initial contract term, with potential increases limited to 5% for each renewal term. The evaluation criteria include Business Profile (10 points), Experience and Capability (20 points), Project Plan (20 points), Support Plan (10 points), Other Relevant Facts/Information (10 points), and Fee Proposal (30 points). The District has a policy to maximize participation of qualified local, minority, and women-owned business enterprises (LMWBEs) and requires documentation of good faith efforts to involve LMWBEs.
