Bidders were required to submit three references from similar projects completed within the past five years and provide subcontractor information and references if applicable. All contractors and subcontractors must carry Commercial General Liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate, along with Workers' Compensation insurance at statutory limits. Contractors and subcontractors were required to provide E-Verify affidavits and County Public Benefit Applications prior to work commencement. Bid packages were available at www.jonescountyga.org, with questions directed to Julie Happoldt at Julie.Happoldt@jonescountyga.org. Proposals were treated as best and final with no opportunity for fee negotiation. The Jones County Board of Commissioners reserved the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. The project has been cancelled and was not awarded.
