About this file

This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) Special Provisions for the City of Oklahoma City, specifically targeting a pricing agreement for Small Electronic Components, Batteries, and related equipment for various City Departments and Trusts. The solicitation anticipates a multiple award, encouraging vendors to bid on some or all items. The Contracting Entity allows vendors flexibility in submitting bids, with the understanding that they can participate to the extent of their capabilities.

The document outlines specific terms regarding returns and restocking, indicating that no re-stocking charges will be paid for items returned within 30 days and in saleable condition. Technical questions must be addressed through the electronic bidding system, and pricing must be submitted through the Line-Item area of that system. The warranty section emphasizes that bidders are responsible for ensuring all bid items meet manufacturer warranties, even if they are not the original manufacturer. If items do not meet warranty standards, the bidder must work with the manufacturer to provide replacements or issue refunds, with the remedy selection at the Contracting Entity's discretion.
