About this file

The document is a Letter of Authorization form (RFB.LOA.VII.2025) for the City of Oklahoma City or a related Public Trust, designed to authorize an agent to sign a legally binding document on behalf of a bidder when the statutorily authorized officer has not done so. The form provides specific guidance on who can serve as an authorizing officer based on the type of business entity, including corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and joint ventures, with detailed requirements for each entity type.

The form specifies that for corporations, the authorizing officer must be an officer with titles such as President, Vice-President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chairperson, or Vice-Chairperson, as stated in the bylaws or board resolution. For LLCs, the authorizing officer must have an ownership interest or be designated to manage the LLC, with potential titles including Manager, Managing Member, Owner, Principal, President, or Vice-President. Partnerships require a General Partner, while joint ventures need an Authorized Officer from each venture. The form provides a template for completing the authorization, including spaces for the authorized agent's name, bidder's name, and the authorizing officer's signature, title, date, name, and email address.
