About this file
The document is a Letter of Authorization (LOA) form for the City of Oklahoma City or a related Public Trust, specifically designated with the reference number RFB.LOA.VII.2025. The form provides detailed guidance for authorizing officers from different types of business entities (corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and joint ventures) to sign legally binding documents on behalf of a bidder when the statutorily authorized officer cannot do so.
The form specifies precise requirements for authorizing officers based on the business entity type, including acceptable titles and roles. For corporations, authorized officers must hold positions like President, Vice-President, CEO, CFO, Chairperson, or Vice-Chairperson, as defined in corporate bylaws or board resolutions. For LLCs, authorized individuals must have an ownership interest or be designated to manage the company. Partnerships require a General Partner, and joint ventures need an Authorized Officer from each venture. The form includes blank spaces for the authorized agent's name, bidder's name, authorizing officer's signature, title, date, printed name, and email address.
