Solicitation number
2024-RFP-0437
Issued by
Sacramento County, San Francisco City, California

About this file

This document is a Request for Proposals (RFP) from the Sacramento County Department of Airports for food and beverage concession operations at Sacramento International Airport's Terminal B Pre-Security area. The RFP seeks qualified operators to remodel, operate, and maintain two food and beverage locations - a cafe and a bar & restaurant - with the goal of creating concepts that reflect Sacramento's "Farm-to-Fork Capital" identity. The solicitation includes multiple attachments and appendices providing historical sales data, enplanement forecasts, and operational guidelines, with proposals due on November 22, 2024. The selected proposer will be expected to quickly open spaces showcasing local and regional beverages and dishes using fresh, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients.

The RFP includes comprehensive documentation for potential bidders, such as a Business Organization Summary, References Form, Labor Peace Policy Form, and financial analysis requirements. Appendices provide critical context, including historical concession sales data for Terminal B (showing sales growth from $750,307 in 2014 to $1,325,137 in 2019), monthly enplanement statistics, and forecast passenger growth projections through 2035. The document emphasizes the airport's environmental and sustainability goals, requiring proposers to reduce waste, energy consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions. While specific financial terms are not explicitly detailed, the RFP suggests proposers will need to demonstrate financial capability, investment plans, and a comprehensive understanding of the airport's culinary and operational vision.
