5.5 Chemical and Chemical Combination Cartridges
Chemical and chemical combination cartridges have a 3 year shelf life based on the date of manufacture. Respirators requiring chemical and/or chemical combination cartridges will expire one year from the date of packaging by the REF or cartridge expiration date, whichever occurs first.
Cartridges should only be removed from manufacturer’s bag when ready for use. Cartridges are sealed in bags by the manufacture to prevent absorption of moisture and/or contaminants prior to use.
