PRE-BID CONFERENCE/ SITE TOUR AGENDA
NAVAJO-GALLUP WATER SUPPLY PROJECT ~ Block 9 - 11
SOLICITATION NO. R17PS00812
July 13, 2017
8:00 A.M.
Twin Lakes Chapter House, Twin Lakes New Mexico, Hwy 491
1. Introduction
a. This job is considered heavy construction.
b. Negotiated (RFP). (See Sections L & M / Address all items required in your bids)
c. Submittal requirements: (See Section 01 31 30, Contract Document Management System and Section 01 33 00, Submittals)
d. All applicable Federal, State, Tribal and Local Taxes shall be paid by the contractor.
e. Land/ROW Access: Limited Access, need to stay on ROW due to environmental and cultural resources in area.
Lands Included in the project site are Navajo Tribal Trust.
2. Construction Considerations: Approximately 28 Miles of Pipeline Installation, Valves and Blowoffs, Jack and
Bore Crossings, Gas Line crossings, Wash Crossings.
3. Environmental Requirements: Navajo Nation Lands, Permitting, SWPPP, Dewatering, 404, NOI, Nationwide 12 permit, wetlands area, Biological Monitors. (See Specification Sections 01 57 20 through 01 57 60)
4. Cultural Requirements: Ground Disturbing Activities, Archeological Site Monitors. (See Section 01 57 90)
5. Safety Requirements

6. No verbal questions will be taken. See the attached Questions form. All written questions will be collected at the end of the site tour. Formal response will be provided via an amendment. Written questions should be submitted to Monica Burgio at mburgio@usbr.gov and Walter Shaw at wshaw@usbr.gov by 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 21, 2017.
