About this file
This document is a set of questions and answers related to an RFP issued by the Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE) for Election Staffing Services contract D38B2600021. The RFP is seeking professional temporary staffing resources for a variety of positions over three upcoming election cycles from 2024 to 2028. The RFP outlines the required experience for the positions. The current incumbent contractor is 22nd Century Technologies, and SBE anticipates awarding a single contractor with mandatory 30% MBE subcontractor participation. The RFP provides historical spending information of $1.8 million for the 2020 General Election and $804,066 for the 2020 Primary Election, noting these amounts may be lower due to the pandemic. SBE clarifies that there are no guaranteed quantities, and the State does not share budgetary information. The RFP includes a prevailing/living wage requirement that offerors must comply with.
