About this file

This is a Proposer RFP Checklist document for the City of Santa Monica Department of Transportation (SMDOT) related to a Request for Proposals for an Onboard Bus Video Surveillance System (OBVSS) in California. The checklist outlines essential procedural steps that proposers must follow when submitting responses to the RFP, including reading the entire RFP document, attending the pre-proposal conference if offered, submitting questions by specified deadlines, and reviewing all formal addenda posted on the City's OpenGov vendor portal. Proposers must provide point-by-point responses to all RFP sections in the required format, acknowledge all issued addenda with signed documentation, and submit complete responses by the specified deadline, as late proposals will not be accepted. The SMDOT seeks qualified vendors to design, integrate, replace, and provide training for an onboard bus video surveillance system that includes maintenance and warranty services.

The checklist emphasizes that proposals will be evaluated solely on the information and materials provided in submitted responses and that proposers must carefully review the RFP document multiple times to ensure all mandatory requirements and supplies/services are addressed. Proposers are required to note all critical dates and times listed on the RFP front page and must check the OpenGov portal before submission to confirm no addenda have been issued that would affect their proposal. No additional information regarding pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, funding amounts, or other financial details is contained in this checklist document, as it functions as a procedural guide rather than a substantive project specification.
