About this file
The document is a comprehensive set of signalization plans and technical specifications for the Pinellas County Public Works Department's Countywide Mast Arm Hardening project, covering three specific intersections: West Bay Drive at Indian Rocks Road, US 19 at Roosevelt Boulevard, and Seminole Boulevard at 126th Avenue North. The project involves replacing existing traffic signal infrastructure with new mast arms, upgrading signalization equipment, installing new signal cables, video detection systems, and performing associated roadway improvements. The plans include detailed engineering drawings, signalization plans, traffic control notes, conduit relocation details, fiber optic splice details, and topographic surveys for each intersection location.
The project involves multiple technical components, including installing new traffic signals, mast arms, electrical equipment, and associated infrastructure across three distinct intersections in Pinellas County. The technical specifications outline precise requirements for equipment installation, including specific measurements for pole locations, signal head assemblies, and conduit routing. The documentation indicates a comprehensive approach to infrastructure improvement, with detailed considerations for utility coordination, existing infrastructure preservation, and compliance with local and state engineering standards. The plans were prepared by engineering professionals and include precise technical specifications for electrical, structural, and traffic management elements, suggesting a methodical and comprehensive approach to modernizing these transportation intersections.
