About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Industry Day agenda for the UH-60M Black Hawk Commercial Modification program. The event was held to identify and assess commercial solutions for modernizing and sustaining the fielded UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter fleet in support of Army Aviation transformation. The strategic goal is to leverage commercial capabilities and investments to improve aircraft performance, increase fleet readiness, and stabilize the industrial base.

The RFI focused on three key drivers: manufacturing capability to ensure the industrial base can deliver conforming products; supply chain resilience to mitigate risks associated with parts availability and obsolescence; and affordability to identify cost-effective modification solutions while reducing total lifecycle costs. The Industry Day agenda scheduled approximately three hours of activities, including welcome remarks by COL Ryan Nesrsta, a Statement of Work overview and Q&A led by LTC Aaron Kia, a response template presentation, closing remarks, and business collaboration discussions. Participants were required to adhere to specific rules of engagement, including unclassified discussions only, no one-on-one meetings with the U.S. Government to ensure uniform assumptions, no audio or visual recordings, no product pitches, and structured question submission via microphone during designated Q&A periods. The event attracted over 100 industry attendees representing aerospace, defense, and aviation companies. Information presented at the event was to be posted on sam.gov.
