About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) related to a federal contract opportunity for Gray Eagle D/82 Fiber Optics. The Q&A provides clarification on the specific locations and quantities of TFOCA connectors required, the scope of work being limited to the run between two manholes (HH-2 and HH-7), and confirmation that certain cabling/fiber runs are out of scope. It also addresses questions about the fiber cable specifications, including the type of connectors and the length of the fiber runs. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation (PANMCC24P0000017356) issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command, with a description indicating this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a fiber optics requirement. Key details include response due dates for questions (17 September 2024) and quotes (20 September 2024), as well as the publication date for answers (18 September 2024).
