About this file
This document summarizes a request for information from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration regarding operations, maintenance, and sustainment services. NOAA seeks these services to support its National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service for systems including satellites, ground stations, data processing and distribution capabilities. Responses to the RFI are due by December 15, 2017 and should include administrative information, corporate capabilities and experience relevant to operations and maintenance of ground systems, as well as any questions. NOAA plans to release a draft RFP on January 5, 2018 and host an industry day on January 17, 2018 to further discuss its requirements.
