About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to assess the marketplace for an upcoming Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OMS) contract. NOAA anticipates awarding a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide OMS requirements for multiple NESDIS systems over a base year plus four option years.

The RFI requests responses by December 15, 2017 to include company information, capabilities and experience statements, and any questions or concerns regarding the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. Capabilities statements should address program management, timely delivery of goods and services, maintenance and license agreements, assessments, improvements, IT security processes, and recommended transition periods. Experience statements should include relevant details on scope, period of performance, value, clients, and other information relevant to the OMS requirement.

NOAA plans to release a draft RFP on January 5, 2018 and host an Industry Day at its Silver Spring campus on January 17, 2018. The RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
