8. PREPARATION INFORMATION:
The Contractor shall prepare the data delivery as follows:
8a. DATA TYPE:

8b. SCOPE:
The Contractor Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) shall encompass all the services required to achieve all the requirements of this contract. The WBS shall subdivide the work to be accomplished into elements that serve as the basis for detailed planning and control, and in addition, permit collection of cost and schedule data for each element.
8c. CONTENT:
The WBS shall graphically depict the WBS tree. After contract award, the Government will provide guidance on the WBS structure. A Contractor WBS element may represent a task, a service, an identifiable product, a set of data, or a budget function. The WBS structure shall include elements listed in the Baseline B: Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) Information Technology (IT) and Planning, Integration, and Control (PIC) Services portion of the Statement of Work (SOW) with additional levels as required by the Contractor. Lower levels of detail, which the Contractor uses for its own management purposes, shall be compatible with NASA requirements and be accessible by NASA. The relationship between the WBS and the Contractor’s internal organizations and processes shall also be provided.
The WBS shall map to the Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) WBS without requiring allocation.
At a minimum, the following items have to be tracked by the Contractor in order to be reported to NASA:
· Athena software sustaining and development support (SOW 2.5)
· Fox software sustaining and development support (SOW 2.5)
· MODEAR software sustaining and development support (SOW 2.5)
· Project Support and CM of FOD Project Information System (SOW 2.7)
· Business Planning and Control Office Library and CM support (SOW 2.2.3 and 2.8)
· CD Technical Integration Services (SOW 2.2.3 and 2.11)
· IT Resource Management Support (SOW 2.6)
· Facility Utilization and Optimization Support (2.9) by customer
· Schedule Support (SOW 2.10)
These items can be tracked using the WBS or other systems available to the Contractor.
8d. FORMAT:
The WBS shall be in a graphical format. Electronic format of all submissions shall be compatible with IRD provided desktop standard applications. Organizational format of the supporting documentation shall be the Contractor’s format.
