About this file
This is a Question & Answer Log for federal contract opportunity N6883626R0002, Amendment 1. The document records responses to seven inquiries submitted by prospective offerors regarding a recompete contract for maritime maintenance services at multiple Navy installations.
The contract is a recompete of incumbent work previously awarded under contract N6883624C0003. Key service locations include Pensacola, Key West, Mayport, Kings Bay, and Panama City, with work encompassing boat maintenance, oil spill response equipment maintenance, ship movements, facility maintenance, and various waterfront operations. The Government declined to provide incumbent staffing details, historical workload data by installation for the past three years, or the specific composition of TE-01 estimated equipment maintenance hours, noting only that these hours represent an estimated average of total service effort at each installation. The Government also rejected a request to extend the experience recency requirement in Sections L and M from three years to five years to increase small business competition. All Government responses to the seven questions were negative regarding the provision of additional historical data, staffing information, or modification of proposal requirements.
