About this file

This is a General Services for Ship document, specifically a labor category and pricing template for ship maintenance and support services. The document establishes labor categories and rates for general services work supporting the USS Mount Whitney (USS MTW) during its FY 2027 Mid-Term Availability (MTA). The document outlines various labor categories including skilled trades, supervisory positions, and support personnel with associated hourly rates and labor hour estimates. These services support ship maintenance, repairs, modernization, and operational readiness activities during the scheduled availability period.

The pricing template provides a structured approach for contractors to submit labor-hour requirements and corresponding costs across multiple work categories and time periods. The document serves as the basis for establishing firm-fixed-price or cost-reimbursable labor agreements with selected contractors. This solicitation is issued by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command and applies to service work on an active naval vessel, requiring contractors with experience in maritime maintenance, Navy ship operations compliance, and ability to work within a shipyard or port environment during the specified availability window.
