About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract N6426726Q5012 concerning audiovisual installation services for the TANC Split rooms (Rooms B201/4W-333 and 4W-334).
The document addresses four key inquiries regarding the contract scope. The rooms are equipped with mobile 65" display/webcam carts and six mobile 72x30" training tables per room, with all furniture on rollers. No permanent installations currently exist except required alarm system components; Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE) is stored in B201 storerooms awaiting this contract's completion. Display mounting hardware is Contractor-Furnished Equipment (CFE) per SOW Table 1, with existing wall penetrations positioned to accommodate displays mounted at 71" height. The rooms are designed to operate in both split configuration (divided by acoustic curtain) and single-room configuration (curtain stored), with cross-connection requirements specified in SOW 3.1.2 enabling a single input from either independent AV control system to reach all displays in the combined space.

N6426726Q5012 Questions and Answers
1. Can the Government provide any available architectural drawings, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, room dimensions, elevations, and furniture layouts for Rooms 4W-333 and 4W-334?
Answer: Rooms B201/4W-333 and 334 (collectively known as the TANC Split rooms) have only a mobile 65” display/webcam cart and 6 mobile 72x30” training tables per room, plus chairs and side chairs. Everything is on rollers/wheels.
2. The GFE equipment referenced, are they currently installed in the room?
Answer: Nothing is permanently installed in the room except the required alarm system components, etc. We are waiting on this contract package for permanent AV installation. We have the GFE equipment for these rooms in B201 storerooms.
3. The package identifies display locations but not mounting heights or mount types. Please confirm whether display mounts will be Government Furnished or Contractor Furnished and provide desired mounting heights/elevations.
Answer: The existing wall penetrations for display cabling and power are set to fall behind the top half of the displays at 71.” The Installation Hardware Package (SOW 3.1.1) containing display mounts, among other specified items, is CFE per SOW Table 1.
4. Since the room is divided by a security curtain, is there ever a need to have the room function as one combined space? Or is this a permanent A room and B room situation.
Answer: The TANC Split rooms are designed to operate in both split configuration (acoustic curtain drawn) and single room configuration (acoustic curtain stored). There are requirements (SOW 3.1.2) to cross-connect the two normally independent AV control systems such that a single input on either system can get to all displays in the combined space.
