About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland (Wage Determination No. 2015-4281, Revision 38, effective 7/30/2026).
The wage determination covers numerous occupational classifications across multiple service categories, including administrative and clerical occupations, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, janitorial and support services, health occupations, information and arts occupations, information technology occupations, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation and repair, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs occupations, plant and system operations, protective service occupations, recreation occupations, stevedoring and longshoring occupations, technical occupations, and transportation and mobile equipment operation occupations. Each classification includes specific hourly wage rates ranging from approximately $15.47 to $61.08 per hour. The determination mandates fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (or $222.00 per week) for standard classifications and $5.89 per hour (or $283.60 per week) for Executive Order 13786 classifications. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years; a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually; and night pay differentials of 10% for hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. The document applies to all contracts subject to the Service Contract Act awarded on or after January 1, 2015, and contractors must comply with wage and classification requirements, including procedures for conforming unlisted occupational classifications through SF-1444 forms submitted to the Department of Labor.
