About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) submitted to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka dated January 21, 2026, under RFP Number N6264926RA011.
The contractor question addresses procurement difficulties with items currently categorized as Consolidated Freight Management (CFM) and requests consideration for reclassification of specified CFM items to General Freight Management (GFM). The government response indicates that reclassifying materials to be procured via GFM is not acceptable due to excessive lead time exceeding six months, which would not align with current Performance Operating Plan (POP) requirements. The government directs the contractor to investigate alternative procurement options and to identify whether Japanese equivalent materials are available as potential solutions.
