About this file

This is a detailed Statement of Work (SOW) for maintenance and inspection work on a naval vessel, specifically the YRBM(L) 57. The document outlines requirements for sewage collection and holding tank maintenance, including opening, ventilating, emptying, cleaning, and inspecting the CHT tank located in multiple areas such as CHT Tank 2-30-1-Q, Bulk Laundry 01-57-3-Q, and Enlisted Laundry 01-49-1-Q. Key tasks include conducting a visual inspection of the tank for structural integrity, coating deficiencies, and potential damage, performing an air pressure test at 2 PSIG, and replacing existing plumbing drain PVC pipes on eyewash stations.

The SOW emphasizes strict safety protocols, requiring each space to be certified "Safe for Man" by a Marine Chemist and ensuring all harmful vapors are ventilated outside the vessel. The work must be performed in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items and other referenced technical documents. Contractors must submit a detailed report with sketches documenting any structural damage or deterioration discovered during the inspection. The document is marked as export-controlled under ITAR, indicating the sensitive nature of the technical information. No government-furnished materials are listed for this job order.
