31. Q: Performance Objective in development of maintenance plan Table 2 1502000 Page 31 of 39, Performance Objective Service plan for the servicing of photovoltaic (PV) systems The contractor shall respond to trouble calls The contractor shall provide construction support of SME
What is the construction support that we may be needing to provide the system is already built?
A: See Amendment No. 0002
32. Q: Table 3 1502000 Page 31 of 39, Related Information Notify the KO and COR or PAR in writing seven (7) calendar days in advance of each scheduled maintenance service visit to limit the possibility of scheduling conflicts between the facility operations and the contractors maintenance performance. The contractor shall respond to trouble calls within 1 hour during business hours and within 2 hours during nonbusiness hours. The contractor shall provide a written report of PV systems trouble calls in accordance with 0200000- 02.
What exact is the response – is the answering a call to set up a time to arrive – do we have to show up within that time frame this is a big cost difference on truck roll.
A: See Attachment 020000-01 for definition of Response Time.
33. Q: Questions on the Attachment 0200000-09 the line items 720 and 721 so A720, B720, C720, D720 etc.
a. All the 720 items are asking for estimated quantity of work this is system site unseen and had an hour amount of 300 is this per annum?
b. All the PV system items in 0200000-09 for PV have a line item A721 material price of
$15,000 already put in is this for annual extra costs of material for instance the fuses as asked about in table 1 – is this annual.
A: These are Nonrecurring Work Items. The quantities are an estimated amount per year and will be ordered when required.
34. Q: Then on Attachment A004 It has A004 AD, A0004 AE, A004AF-A004 AG. Is it asking for
Annual, Biennial, Quarterly maintenance and Quinquennial. I just want to verify the items I have looked, and think should be done would be annually like the system cleaning and inspection etc.
Now if they want to push that to every 2 years, they still want a price on an annual thermal imaging as the thermal imaging should truly only be done on a cleaned system.
A: See Amendment No. 0001.
35. Q: Now they have it set for each of the sites as a separate for these pages so they have the same amount of time and material for each site so that adds $60,000 to total cost per year on the parts in line A721 and then the cost from A720 is going to be multiplied by 4 for the systems as it is done 4 times. I want to get this clarified and what exactly does that total cost cover.
A: Line Item Nos. 0001, 0003, 0005, 0007, and 0009 are Recurring Work.
Line Item Nos. 0002, 0004, 0006, 0008, and 0010 are Nonrecurring Work. The nonrecurring
Work quantities are an estimated amount per year and will be ordered when required.
36. Q: Attachment 1502000-04 - Can you please verify that the last two systems (B-1916 & B-9) are
Solar Hot Water Systems and not PV Systems. Since a site visit is not available to inspect the work sites, we are using Google Maps to view the Solar Hot Water Panels. These two buildings look like they are PV and not Solar Hot Water Panels.
A: See Amendment No. 0002 and Attachment 1502000-10.
37. Q: I just downloaded the Amendment and notice there is a new trade added into this solicitation
(Water Storage Tank Inspections). Due to the new addition, may we request more time on the due date (10/30/20). We will need time to find a qualified subcontractor to partner with for this newly added service.
A: See Amendment No. 0002.
