About this file

This document contains a federal indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract solicitation and standard road paving plan sheet.

The solicitation is for road paving projects at various government facilities within Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Base San Diego, Naval Base Coronado, and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in the San Diego area. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, overhead and profit to complete task orders for pre-negotiated categorized services and incidental items related to repair, removal and replacement of road paving. Task orders will include pre-priced services for categories such as labor, materials, equipment, overhead and performance bond. The solicitation is a HubZone set aside issued by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest.

The standard road paving plan sheet provides specifications for various curb types, driveway sections, sidewalk dimensions, ramp slopes and other details related to road paving projects. It includes tables listing curb quantities and dimensions by type. Notes provide additional requirements for clear passage widths, retaining curbs, acquisition of easements, maximum gutter and ramp slopes, and other construction guidelines.
