About this file
This document summarizes responses to contractor questions regarding solicitation N50054-19-R-0001 for marine boatyard repair and maintenance support services. The solicitation seeks proposals for Lot I and Lot II requirements. Lot I involves vessels less than 50 feet that can be transported by trailer, while Lot II includes vessels 50 feet or greater or those that must be delivered via waterway. Both lots allow for work in or outside the contractor's boatyard. The work includes repairs, modifications, and maintenance for non-commissioned boats and craft of the U.S. Navy in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Responses clarify vessel dimensions, capabilities required, and proposal instructions. Offerors may bid independently on Lot I, Lot II, or both combined. Price proposals are not required for this solicitation but will be evaluated at the delivery order level.

CONTRACTOR QUESTION 5:

GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: The Table of Contents is included in Volume I, but does not count against the page limit.
CONTRACTOR QUESTION 2:
Section L, page 94 specifies that the sections for LOT II (i) Organization/Management and (ii) Manpower Resources and Capabilities are the same as LOT I. 2.13 included with the proposal.
CONTRACTOR QUESTION 4:
Does the Office Space described for the LOT I and LOT II requirements need to be different (i.e. two separate spaces), or can the Contractor provide one office space for both lots? Further, if the same office space can be used for both lots, does the Offeror need to repeat the office space information in each section, or is it allowable to reference the LOT I Office Space section when discussing LOT II Office Space?
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE: Contractor can provide one space for both; space must be able to accommodate the combined requirements if a single space is provided. Contractor may reference Lot I statement.
