About this file
This document contains an addendum to government responses to requests for clarification on a solicitation for service life extension work on a vessel. The solicitation seeks a firm-fixed price contract to perform modifications, engine and gear replacement, electrical and generator upgrades, control system replacements, and other work on YTT-11 Discovery Bay at the contractor's facility between April and November 2021. Raytheon and Pacific Power Group are identified as points of contact for original equipment manufacturer support. The responses clarify the roles of the prime contractor and separate award contracts for assistance with installation work.
