CONTRACTOR QUESTION: The specification in 3.2.4.1 states to blast the "entire" underwater body. The hull has "D" rubber fendering installed. There is not a specific reference in the item to remove and replace the fendering to accomplish the work scope. Is the fendering intended to be left in place, or removed as an interference as referenced in 1.12? Please clarify the intent of the specification.
