Text version

1) The electrical requirement on these trailers is One dedicated 120 Volt-20 amp circuit . Will the government have this available on site for the trailer to plug in to? Yes, temp power will be available but a minimum of 220 is required.

2) Number and duration – How many trailers do you expect to need at once, and for how long? 3 Trailers, refer to SOW for period of performance.

3) Placement and hookups – Will all trailers be set up in one spot, or spread around? Will Shop 99 provide water/electrical connections, or should we plan to handle those tie-ins? Units will have to fit within the area specified in the SOW and will be located next to dry dock #4. The trailers will need to have the capability to be connected to water/power. NNSY will provide power and water.

4) Servicing – Are there specific times during the day you prefer for cleaning and pump-outs? Do you want consumables (soap, TP, and towels) included in our base rate? To be completed no later than 0900. Yes, consumables toilet paper, soap and towels – See updated SOW.

5) Emergencies and relocations – Do the 24-hour response window include weekends and holidays? And for hazardous weather, how much notice do you usually give for a move? Yes, 24 hour response applies. 48 hours for hazardous weather.

6) Is there a specific layout for the trailers? - More stalls on the male or female sides? Two doors or five? Male and female separated, three stalls and two sinks designated female. Male designated side-two stalls and three urinals.

7) Power & Water – Will the Government provide both power and water hookups for the restroom trailers? If so, what type of electrical power connection will be available? Yes. A minimum of 220 for electrical power.

8) Trailer Configuration – Could you clarify if the Government is looking for particular sink configurations, and confirm what is meant by “three (3) five-station VIP restroom trailers”? (e.g., does each trailer contain five restroom stations divided for male and female use?) See updated SOW

9) Servicing Time – For the required weekday servicing, does the Government expect servicing during the workday, or can this be performed after hours? See question 4 answer

10) Certifications/Qualifications – The Addendum requires proof of compliance, and the SOW references UFC, IBC, NFPA, ADA, and OSHA standards. Is the expectation formal third-party certifications, or would a written self-certification/narrative in the proposal suffice? Self certification that trailers meet the requirements above is sufficient.

11) Do the trailers need to be ADA accessible? Yes

12) One of our prospective vendors proposed a configuration that includes:Female side: 3 stalls, 1 sink Male side: 1 stall, 3 urinals, 1 sink Could you please confirm whether the Government would accept this type of configuration, where urinals are included as part of the station count, or if each “station” must specifically be a stall? See question 6

13) How many people are expected to use these trailers on a daily basis?? (This will normally dictate how often the trailers will need to be pumped and/or restocked) Day shift around 600 and nights around 250.

14) As for cleaning and restocking the trailers, do they need cleaned and restocked each day (at least 5 days a week)? Yes

15) As for pumping, do they really need to be pumped daily? Pumping daily would be extreme when these trailers have 400-500 gallon black water tanks. Yes

16) Would 4-stall trailers work for this requirement instead of 5-stall trailers? No

17) Do the trailers have to be 5-stall trailers? Will they be located in close proximity where multiple 4-stall trailers could be used, or a single 10-stall trailer instead of 2 x 5-stall trailers? No
