About this file

This is Amendment No. 0006 to Solicitation N40085-26-R-9009 for HVAC Systems maintenance and repair at Buildings NH100, NH120, and NH121. The amendment extends the proposal submission deadline to Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 1300 EST and provides answers to 24 contractor questions submitted regarding the scope of work.

The solicitation, administered by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, requires comprehensive HVAC system services including cleaning and maintenance of approximately 50 air handling units (AHUs). Key requirements include: replacement of fan shaft bearings and fan belts on all units; replacement of air filters (contractor-supplied, with sizes and MERV ratings provided in an attached spreadsheet); cleaning of AHU components; replacement of a damaged disconnect at AHU4; encapsulation of AHU insulation (no specific brand required); and balancing of blower wheel assemblies. The contractor must provide spot coolers to maintain temperature in critical hospital areas during equipment downtime, supply clean entry mats to meet infection control requirements, provide testing for microbial growth if deemed necessary, coordinate with hospital facilities staff with 24-hour notice before completing cleaning work, and perform work during daytime, evening, and weekend hours as coordinated with the facility. The government will move obstructing items from mechanical rooms and provide available as-built drawings; the contractor is responsible for verifying all equipment specifications and filter requirements. NADCA certification is not required. Work will be performed in phases as outlined in the original statement of work. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
