About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation N40085-26-R-0012, issued by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic for gym floor maintenance and refinishing services at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
The amendment corrects the proposal due date to May 21, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST and extends the cutoff for requests for information to May 15, 2026. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 14, 2026 at 0800 at Lejeune High School's front entrance. The contract covers annual maintenance of 164,710 square feet across 37 areas, with annual work consisting of dust mopping, buffing, and finishing on gym floors and courts that contain game lines and logos. Materials must meet Commercial Grade Oil Base Polyurethane and Bona Sport Court line specifications (or equivalent) complying with MFMA, AFSSFCL, and Group III Finish standards. Teaming arrangements and subcontractors are acceptable; full North Carolina licensing on the prime contractor is not required. The amendment removes five buildings from the scope (S204, PP3, USO1, and reduces BB2 by one court and aerobic A1, and removes both courts from FC332) by deleting and replacing attachment J-1503010-05. Ten questions and answers from prospective bidders are provided, addressing scope clarification, refinishing versus refurbishment definitions, material specifications, site visit availability, and square footage details.
