About this file

This document is an Asbestos Inspection Report for Building AS2818, a Bath House, at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune. The report states that no asbestos-containing materials (ACM) were identified during the initial inspection, and no further action is required. The report provides details on the building, year built, and asbestos management contact information. It also outlines the health aspects, conditions to avoid, and response actions related to ACM. The report includes a list of sample locations and testing results, which indicate no detectable levels of asbestos in the drywall, joint material, or shingle roofing.

The related federal contract opportunity is for a Maintenance & Repair Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for projects primarily located at Marine Corps Installations East facilities in North Carolina, under the Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command. This is an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) MACC solicitation.
