About this file

This is Amendment 0003 to solicitation N4008525R2557, issued by NAVFACSYSCOM Mid-Atlantic ROICC Camp Lejeune, providing answers to four contractor questions. The amendment is dated February 24, 2025, and does not extend the response deadline.

The Q&A clarifies that contractors are responsible for the first $1,500 in labor and material costs combined for trouble calls, since they are already compensated for monthly maintenance through a specific ELIN. For equipment calibration, if facility owners cannot calibrate fuel pumps/dispensing equipment, an IDIQ contract with Veedor Root would cover this. Regarding building AS-3900, the systems, equipment maintenance requirements, and filter specifications will be determined after renovation is complete. The amendment notes that no prices have been solicited or negotiated yet for AS-3900 maintenance - these will be negotiated through government and contractor estimates once construction is finished.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 3

Question 1: Would the Government consider changing the requirement to being responsible for up to $1,500.00 in labor and material costs combined?

Answer 1: It Mentions ALL Labor due to the fact that the Contractor is already getting compensated for Monthly Maintenance and Trouble calls with a specific ELIN. EXAMPLE: If a trouble call takes more manhours to troubleshoot and minor parts are needed to complete the repair, the Contractor will account for the first $1,500.00.

Question 2: Would the Government please clarify the requirement and whether the contractor should price in an outside service that is qualified and certified to calibrate the equipment, or could this be handled under negotiated work?

Answer 2: If the owner of the facility cannot calibrate the fuel pumps or dispensing equipment, there is IDIQ for Veedor Root which would cover this situation IF it occurs.

Question 3: Would the Government please provide a list of the systems and equipment to be maintained in building AS-3900 once the renovation is completed?

Answer 3: Once the building is complete, the systems will be verified and the type of Air Sampling that will have to occur will be determined.

Question 4: Would the Government please provide the quantity, sizes and types of filters to be used during preventative maintenance cycles in the renovated AS-3900 building?

Answer 4: The Quantities, Types, and Maintenance (Replacement Cycles) of filters will be identified once the building is completed.

****** NO Prices have been solicited or negotiated at this time for AS 3900 Maintenance. When the structure has been completed, the prices will have to be negotiated through a Government Estimate and Contractor Estimate and then forwarded to the Contract Specialist for further action.
